Brent Barcomb is a CPA in the Richmond area. He has worked in both public accounting and the private sector.
Brent has worked exclusively with retirement plans since 1993, and started his own third party administration company in 1995, which operated successfully until its sale in 2007.
Currently, Brent is a financial consultant with Johnson & Gilliss in Richmond, Virginia where he serves as the retirement plan specialist.

Robin joined our team in March 2007. She comes to us with 9 years of experience in the financial planning industry.
Robin serves as our office administrative assistant and works closely with Mike and Neil to provide exceptional client service. Her responsibilities include processing new accounts, monitoring all incoming transfers for completion, and working with the home office on all client related issues.

Charlene joined our team in March 2007 as Client Relations Director. Charlene has eighteen years of experience in client relations, communications, management and sales. She is the creative force in our office working on quarterly newsletters and our website. Her responsibilities also include planning and organizing all of our client events and scheduling appointments. Charlene is our clients’ first point of contact for questions and delivers exceptional concierge services.
She received her BS in Real Estate and Urban Land Development from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Noah joined our team in March of 2008 after being a Registered Representative with First Investors Corporation. Through a structured training program, he will work closely with Mike Johnson and Neil Gilliss, in order to learn their philosophy of service and asset management, as well as the measures they take to provide objective and unbiased advice.
Noah graduated from the University of Virginia in the spring of 2007, where he was a four year member of the football team, earning Athletic and All-ACC Honor Roll recognition. He is currently enrolled in Virginia Commonwealth’s Financial Planning Certificate Program and holds the FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 securities registrations.

David has been active in the investment industry for twenty-five years. His educational background is in finance and economics. David began his career working for a small financial planning firm in Richmond. He received his training in the investment industry in New York City for what is now Morgan Stanley. David later worked out of their local office here in Richmond, VA. Over the next 20 plus years, he continued his investment career at Scott & Stringfellow, Branch Cabell and most recently Anderson & Strudwick.
David continues to focus in the areas of retirement and estate investment services. He has an Accredited Asset Management Specialist designation from the College of Financial Planning. In 1993, he authored and published an educational audio-book titled “Understanding Investment Income and Retirement”. David has been interviewed and quoted in the local newspaper on the subjects of stocks and investing. For more than ten years, David performed live on-air financial news reports for WTVR and NPR radio stations in Richmond. He was also a co-host to a live call-in radio talk show about investments and financial issues.
David has served as a board member of Richmond City CASA, a group that represents abused and neglected children in the inner city court systems. He has been an advocate and fund raising chairman for the Boy Scouts of America. David has also helped develop and write legislation that is currently part of the State of Virginia Legal Code.
In his spare time, David likes to play tennis and work in his shop. He has a daughter at Virginia Tech, and he and his wife are very active members of the Westwood Club.

Hunter joined the team full-time in May of 2010 after interning for the two previous summers. Hunter will work on a variety of projects and assist advisors with research and analysis.
Hunter graduated with honors from Hampden-Sydney College with a degree in Economics and Commerce. There he was a manager of the student managed investment fund The TigerFund, Treasurer of Phi Gamma Delta, a member of the Student Senate and Student Finance Board, and a fellow of the Center for the Study of Political Economy.
